Hyperhidrosis, Excessive Sweating

Hyperhidrosis is the medical name for the embarrassing problem of excessive sweating. Excessive sweating can occur in the armpits, palms of hands, feet and some people can find this problem can greatly affect the way people live their lives as well as damage clothing.

The treatment is quick, safe and painless, using the same toxin as for the line tamer treatment, and the results are fantastic.

How does the treatment work?

 After carrying out a simple starch test to locate the sweat glands, a medical grade, highly purified protein is injected in minute quantities to the area requiring treatment. This blocks the nerve impulses to the sweat glands and reduces perspiration. Over the next few days the sweating will decrease by up to 95%.

Is Hyperhidrosis Safe?

This treatment has been used in the NHS for over 30 years for treatment of a variety of conditions, and has an excellent safety record.

How common is Hyperhidrosis?

About one person in 200 has some form of hyperhydrosis.

How long will the Treatment Last?

The treatment is not permanent but the results can last up to 9 months.

 As with Line Tamer treatment, most people compare it to a slight scratch.
