My name is Dai Davies; I am a consultant Plastic Surgeon having worked in the National Health Service and in independent practice for over 25 years. One of the most frequent questions that I am asked is, who can I trust to perform my cosmetic surgery?

It is with this question in mind that Reform Surgical has been launched. Our surgeons are all English trained consultants and have a special interest in cosmetic surgery at the Institute of Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery in London, of which I am the Director. Many of them have international reputations and their work is regularly audited so that the very highest standards are maintained.

When you are having your surgery, your Anaesthetist plays a very important part. Our Anaesthetists all have a specific interest in the delicate art of anaesthesia for cosmetic surgery. You can meet your Anaesthetist before the date of surgery, they understand your anxieties and they will reassure you.

Our Nurses who will accompany you through the patient journey are all individually selected and trained, many of them have years of experience in cosmetic surgery. They will give you honest advice in the counselling period; with good nursing and practical help such as cosmetic camouflage in the early post-operative phase. You will find that they will provide you with friendly reassurance and confidence when it is most needed at all stages in your journey.

Lastly, the Hospitals - we take great care in choosing the hospitals that have specialist facilities for cosmetic surgery so that you have the very best expertise. They are regularly inspected by the Health Care Commission, and have appropriate facilities to care for you. Choosing your surgeon is a very personal choice and we believe in helping you with a patient journey.
